Get Well Wishes!

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today I'm here with a little get well soon wish. 

One of my friends has recently taken a tumble, so this is for her. She's not as battered up as poor Dudley but she won't be driving or dashing around for a few weeks. 

The everyday Scripted Sentiments stamp set came in very handy to create a background and main sentiment, finished off with a poorly Dudley Dragon.

Inking of you!

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today's card features a collaboration of some pretty awesome Whimsy products.

I've coloured all of the images using Spectrum Noir Markers and cut them out. The background papers are so vibrant and detailed, all I needed to do was add the frame, fish and Octopus with foam pads and vola! I had the perfect 'inking of you' greeting card.

Morning All!

I'm here today with a birthday card that I made for my son who celebrated his 13th birthday last month.

Its a quick little A2 shaker card that I made using the following stock

Big Bumble Birthday Wishes

Hi there Crafty Friends!

Just take a moment to soak up all the details in this big beautiful Bumble Bee stamp. I've seen this image stamped over and over and I marvel at how it's been coloured and inked.  We really are a talented lot. 

I couldn't bring myself to colour this in though.  Well, actually that's a lie. I did stamp it onto watercolour card and coloured it with glitter pens but I felt it lost all of its detail and couldn't bring myself to finish it.

I much prefer to see the detail but not wanting to leave it black and white, I took gem stones to the centre of the Sunflower for a bit of sparkle. 

I then heat embossed a strip of black card with Birthday Wishes stamps from the Scripted Sentiments stamp and placed it diagonally across the front. 

Its a simple and effective card, that I love. I hope you do too.

I'm jumping in today with some extra Whimsy love for you all.

I've created a card using a digital stamp from Chrissy Armstrong's collection called Isabelle Mermaid. Isn't she a beauty!

I've coloured her tail with Copic markers and everything else with SN Illustrators and used a white gel pen to enhance her tail. The background is created with inks and a stencil finished off with a few clear gem stones.
