Dudley Ties - Whimsy Stamps

Happy Monday friends!

Dudley has a job interview today!  He's not sure which tie to pick for the occasion.  He needs to decide quickly or he'll be late and that would not be a good start.......

You can grab this image from the June section of Whimsy Stamps Digital Images.

I've a made a fun shaker card using the Slimline Scenic Window Die which is the perfect die for shakers.

I coloured the image using Spectrum Noir Illustrators.

Lets hope he made it on time and got the job.

Thank you for popping over.  Have a great day.

Good Morning my Crafty Friends!

Today I'm here to show you my cute little Octopus friend from the Whimsy Stamps June Digital Stamp release, called Lots o Love Octopus

He looks ready to either cheer you on, or wrap those tenticles around you for a nice big hug.  Either way he's here to ensure a Stupendous Day!

The image was coloured using Spectrum Noir Illustrators. Background was created by inkblending with Harmony Quick Dry Inkpads and a stencil.  I highlighted a few bubbles with a glitter sparkle pen too.

Thank you for popping over.

Have a great day.

Ride Sally - Whimsy June Digital Release

Hey Crafty friends!

I wanted to share this cute card with you all today.

Its from the June Digital Stamp release from Whimsy Stamps called Ride Sally.
It's such a fun image and I knew what I wanted to create straight away.

First I printed the digital image twice onto Neenah Stamping card. After Colouring using Spectrum Noir Illustrators I fussy cut them.  I took one of the coloured images and cut it in half.

I assembled my card and then coloured the ground and sky around each image.  I wanted to add a bit more umph to the cars, so added some clear sparkle Glitter pen to them which created a metallic paint job on the cars.

I'm thrilled with how this turned out.

The dies and sentiments are also from Whimsy, Slimline Fancy Frame Die and Flamingo Fun Stamp Set.

Thank you for popping over.

I hope you have a great day.

Hello my Crafty Friends

A couple of weeks ago I got the pleasure of working with the latest Spectrum Noir Glitter Pens.  I have to be honest and say that I wasn't looking forward to using them at all.

But.......

They are now my favourite latest addition to my craft stash.

Front & Back Tags

Hello Crafty Friends

I'm here today to show you the new Front & Back tags coming to you from Crafters Companion.  They will be launching on HSN on the 8th June.

These are brilliant little tags that can be used in so many different ways.

Here are a few examples that I made.

A very long slimline card, I've lined the inside to leave a message.

A pretty little tag to attach to a gift.

Another very long slimline card with space on the inside for your message.

For this one I cut along the outside of each bunny to slot underneath each strip of card. They look like they are playing peek a boo.

This card I made a little window for the dog tag to pop his head through. You can pull the tab out to reveal a message.

This sweet little mouse tag has been attached by ribbon to a shaped card. It swings freely from side to side.

For the lovely unicorn tag, I made a boxed card and added the unicorn again as a tag.

For the Giraffe I made a deeper window box, maybe deep enough to carry some chocolates and coloured the image on Kraft Card.

I used lots of Crafters Companion goodies to make these samples.

Harmony Quick Dry Ink Pads
Kraft Card
Spectrum Noir Stamping Card
Spectrum Noir Illustrators, Triblend and Triblend Brushes
Black Matt Card and Textured Cardstock
Inverted Stitched Lace Rectangle Dies
Layering Stencils and paper pads

Thank you for popping over.

I hope you all have a great day!
