Petal Lu Anything Goes Challenge #10

Hello!

Welcome to my new swanky looking blog, I hope you like it.

I used Frantage to decorate the frame, you should see the state of my die now!!! and used distress inks to create a little shadow.

 

Organza ribbon and vintage ribbon to embellish with green pearl strings, love my string pearls at the moment.

Well today I'm pleased to announce that I applied to be on the TCP Design Team a few weeks ago, and got accepted.  I'm so pleased to be working with such a talented bunch of ladies and have access to more craft inspiration and products than I could ever have imagined.

Petal Lu Anything Goes Challenge #9

Hello!

Today is the launch of Petal Lu Anything Goes Challenge #9.  You have the opportunity to win a 30% discount code from the Petal Lu Store.

They have also recently launched a Facebook Group for you to go showcase any of your creations using Petal Lu Blooms, I've been told there will be independent challenges run over there too, so follow the links at the bottom of my post and be sure to go join in all the fun!

To showcase the popular Teddy Bear Blooms, I have created the following DT project ;

I grabbed a few plain free standing frames from IKEA just before Christmas and finally got to doing something with at least one of them!  The back is still bare, but there is plenty of time to pop something in there.

I scattered frantage around the edges of the image and cut a larger piece of acitate to create a domed effect.  Bit difficult to see from the picture.

Hope you've all woken up this morning with a spring in your step ready to face whatever 2016 has in store for you.  I'm hoping it's full of fun, love and laughter.

Petal Lu is starting the New Year with a Bang! a full diary already for January and more on the horizon.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support throughout 2015 and remind you all that, without you taking part and being here, neither would I. Thank you!

So, moving onto our mid month reminder at Petal Lu, it's Anything Goes Challenge and your chance to win a £10 box of blooms, not to mention that the top 3 will also win an awesome prize.

Here is my project for inspiration, don't forgot to go see what all the other girls on the design team have created.  We've got a few new girls join our team now, and they are just going to spoil you with their creations.

I coloured this image up in the summer, so I'm afraid I can't remember the colours I used.  The flower there is our Teddybear Bloom, which got added to the Petal Lu Store just the other day, discount price on a box too ;)
