SBS Progressive Challenge

Did you all know SBS Progressive Challenge has started?  You need to be a member of her group (all links provided at the bottom) to get the progressive challenge image free during the request time but you can still enter in the fun straight away by purchasing the image.  This months image is June Fairy Digi

 

 

Our design team have done a wonderful job show casing this image and I can't wait to show you what it did!

The progressive challenge rules for this month are;

1. One design paper

2. Red, Black, Cream, Yellow

3. Must use the sentiment

4. Sparkle it up, glitter etc

So you can see, I made a simple card using the colour combo, design papers and glitter, then made a box for the card using the sentiment.

Let Hope Fly - Celebrating Memorial Day

WOW! What an incredible night we had.  4am wake up call by nature.  The loudest thunder I have ever heard and the biggest lightning show my eyes have ever seen.  It was incredible, I don't  think I'll have much gardening on the agenda today which means I can get on and do some more crafting, especially since I have now been accepted onto a new Design Team.

 

I'd love to share with you all my first posting as a member of the Simply Betty Stamps Design Team.  I've been a fan for years and have been working really hard on my colouring skills to apply for those 'dream team positions'.  I'm thrilled I now get to work with such talented artists.  Thank you Betty for picking me to showcase all of your wonder art work.

 

So, lets move on, less of me and more about Betty.

 

It's Memorial Day in USA and Bank Holiday in UK, Betty has a lot of sales, raffles and fun going on that simply cannot be missed.

I took a few pictures of my work and couldn't decide which was the best, so I hope you like picture shows!

 

 

 

I had a few problems with my copic markers for this image on the skin, it's not as perfect as I would like it.  Good news is, I discovered the problem and hope that my images in the future won't look blotchy in places.

I have used Copic marker pens to colour this image, colours are as follows;

Skin: E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, R34, R20

Hair: E21, E25, E29, E49

Dress: YG23, YG06, YG11

 

Embellishments are from Petal Lu, the new Rainbow's & Unicorn colours.

Conie Fong New Release - Peony Delight

 

Hi everyone!

 

As mentioned in yesterday's post Conie Fong Art & Design has released 2 new images this week.  Yesterday I showed you Peonies in a Jar and today I bring you Peony Delight.

I think Peony Delight is my favourite out of the two.

 

I decided to print this image out much larger than I normally would and mount it to an 8 by 8 sized card.  Those big gorgeous petals needed space!

Y11, Y21, E51 (for the yellow flower)

 

All other card stocks and embellishments are from my stash.

Conie Fong New Release - Peonies in a Jar

Hi there

I'm dropping in today to let you all know that the wonderful Conie Fong Art & Design are releasing 2 new images this week.  The first one I am showing you is Peonies in a Jar.  A beautiful Peonie for you to colour and perfect image for birthdays, mothers day or simply a thinking of you card or project.

I don't usually work with floral images and did find this one a challenge, but thoroughly enjoyed it and for a first attempt, I am happy with my results.  It really is a wonderful image to use to get started on colouring flowers.  Our design team have done such a wonderful job too, so be sure to keep a look out on our facebook pages for more inspiration.

Friends of mine have just become Grandparents for the first time, so I wanted to send them a special card.
