Conie Fong Facebook Challenge

Today I am showing you my inspiration project as a Design Team member for the Conie Fong Art & Design Challenge.

 

I chose to work with Tori Raining Hearts, the theme this month is summer colours

 

Copics used to colour are;

Wow! these fortnightly challenges whizz by so quickly.  So many beautiful entries.

I chose to work with a stamp this time, still need lots of practice, I've become quite lazy just printing off images lately.

My image is Princess from Scarpberry's which you can get at Funkykits website.

So, lets show you what I did!

Did I pick a challenge of a stamp to colour, or did I pick a challenge!!!  I'm pleased with the outcome but boy oh boy, I've never spent so long colouring an image.  Her dress is just fabulous.  Maybe the rich royal blues were a bit adventurous for me but I love it.

I used the following copics;

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E18, E04, R20

Hair: E21, E25, E49

Dress: B29, B28, B18, B24, B39, B32, B12

 

A little matt and layering with cardstock stash.

The addition of sentiment and Petal Lu flowers. The Petal Lu flowers used are the Night of Navy and whites which you can get in the autumnal tones lucky dip.

Conie Fong New Release May, Inspiration Post

Good Morning all!

By now you all know that the very talented Conie Fong Art & Design release new images every month.  Today is my turn to show off one of the newest releases and show you where you can get all of the others.

I was given Sitting Pretty on Mushroom to work with this month, such a sweet image.

 

  

I coloured her using copics;

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20

Hair: E21, E25, E29

Dress: E49, E29, E37, E35,Y21

Mushrooms: R59, R37, R35, R32

 

I find Conie's images so wonderful to colour and easy to follow, which is helpful whilst you are trying to improve on your colouring technique.  I did however this time find using browns very, very challenging.  My fellow DT members are very encouraging though.

 

The flowers are from my Petal Lu store.
