Snowman and Shaker card obsession

Hello Crafty Friends! 

Don't you just love a snowman!  Just when you think a Snowman is a Snowman, a new stamp set is released and you realise you need yet another Snowman adding to your collection. 

Crafters Companion have released this gorgeous set of stamps and will be available on Create & Craft TV from the 1st September. 

The first stamps I'd like to show you are called Warm Holiday Hugs.  I made a Slimline Shaker Card with this set.

The second card i made was using the

Snow is Falling set.  I made a simple 6 by 6 square card. I decorated the edge of the card using snowflake dies onto mirror card and randomly scattered the edges with the due cuts.

Art of Illustrations 4 pen challenge

Hello Crafty Friends!

The Spectrum Noir Discovery Kits are great tools to be used to help you develop your skills.  The kits come with a limited amount of pens which include Illustrators and Classique Markers and 1 fine Liner. 

Just look at that Turtle, can you believe it took just 4 colours! It just goes to show that you can still achieve fantastic results with limited tools.

You are Deer to me - PPCF - Sweet Sentiment August Sponsor

Hey Crafty Friends! 

Today is my first post in my new position of Design Team Member for Passionate Paper Creations and Friends. 

I had the awesome opportunity to work with a new release stamp from Sweet Sentiment called Ew People.

I made a winter themed card and used lots of other crafty goodies to bring that gorgeous deer to life.

The sky background was created using the original Spectrum Noir Colouring system markers and flicked with a glitter pen for snowy effects.

I used several dies to create hill tops and trees and kept my colours to a minimum to keep the snow crispy white which helps the deer pop off the card.

Dolly has such fab news - Whimsy August digital release

Hey friends!

Whimsy have a new release today, 1st of the month.  Lots of new gorgeous digital images to look through.

This one is Dolly from the Wee Stamps Collections. I can't help but call her Dolly Daydreams!

I chose some nice vibrant colours for this card and I think she carries them off beautifully.

I coloured this card using Spectrum Noir Illustrators.

Hair: EB7, EB4, EB2, TN2

Skin: FS8, FS7, FS6, EB2

Yellow: CT4, CT2, CT1

Green: AG3, AG2, AG1

The sentiment has been heat embossed for added texture.
