Matt and Layer cards

Hey Crafty Friends!

Lookie what we've got today....... Crafters Companion Matt and Layer Dies.

Every Crafters staple need. If you need a quick and simple card, then just simply reach for them.

I've made two cards, quick examples of what you can make with a sheet of 12by12 design paper and A4 cardstock. 

Here is my card using the Gemini Matt & Layer Die 6 by 6 Square die.  Other products used are

Autumn Wreath

Hello my friends!

Today I'm sharing a beautiful autumnal card.  Autumn is my favourite season, I love the colours and the cooler temperatures (although not too cold! ).

I used the newly released Meljen's Designs Wreath digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps.  I wanted to keep the card simple, just the image and sentiment. 

I used Spectrum Noir Illustrators to colour this and coloured the letters using Sparkle Glitter Pens.

I love sock weather

Hi Crafty Friends!

I want to share with you another card using the new stamp set from CC Designs called Socks. 

This little bunny has been coloured using Spectrum Noir Illustrators.  I created a small shaker topper for the bunny to sit on. 

I loved working with this set, it's got me ready for the nights drawing in, warm socks and hot chocolate.

Time for warm socks PPCF

Hi Crafty Friends!

I want to share with you the new stamp set from CC Designs called Socks.  There are two gorgeous little characters and two sentiments.

The little bear is my favourite (shh.., don't tell the bunny) so I'm sharing him today.

He's been coloured using Spectrum Noir Illustrators and the background has been created using stencils also from CC Designs.  I fussy cut the bear, stamped and placed the sentiment and popped the bear sitting on top. 

I loved working with this set, it's got me ready for the nights drawing in, warm socks and hot chocolate.

Abstract Jigsaws

Hey Crafty Friends!

Right now over on Create & Craft TV these fantastic Crafters Companion Abstract Jigsaw dies have launched.

Here I am sharing a gorgeous wall hanging.

I used the Abstract Jigsaw Die 8 by 11.  All the products used are listed here

4. Colourista Colouring Sheets 

5. Triblend Brushes & Originals

6. Gemini Expressions Dies - Smile, Love & Friends

I coloured the Colorista colouring sheets and used stick & spray to adhere the sheet to the mountboard.  I then let it dry for 24 hours before I put it through the Gemini for cutting.

My next project was to make a boxed jigsaw.

This one is great fun, it's going to be nearly impossible for the recipient to piece together but I've helped by cutting another set and mounting it to the top of the box.

I created this piece by using the Abstract Jigsaw Die 5 by 7 and stamped the image directly to the Mount board.  Here is the list of products I used.

My final project is a card. 

This really shows their versitily, so we have wall hangings and cards as well as the traditional jigsaw set. 

Again I stamped this image directly to the mount board. I masked a boarder around the image and then popped through my Gemini.

Bug Friends

Hello Crafty Friends!

Can you believe its September already!

The beginning of the month always brings a fantastic Whimsy Stamps new release and this month is no exception.  You really need to go take a look. 

I'm celebrating the new release with the super cute Bug Friends digital image.  Makes such a charming romantic card. 

I used lots of Whimsy goodies to make this and coloured using Spectrum Noir Illustrators Markers.  All the Whimsy goodies can be found below.
