To celebrate I made a fun card using Captain Tunderpants! 

I've used Spectrum Noir Illustrators to colour the image and used Whimsy Stamps Comic Die and papers to bring it all together. 

I loved colouring this image, I find all of Dr Digi's images comical and I'm pretty certain I'll be doing more.

Winter Fun

Good Morning!

Well, still no snow here, just frost. Wouldn't be so bad, but it's so grey and boring looking out of the windows this morning!

I'm having such fun with this Marshmallow wishes stamp set from Whimsy Stamps.

I've made a vibrant slimline card and created my own snowy design papers too!

So easy to create with the following goodies -

I also used Spectrum Noir Harmony Ocean Blue Water Reactive Inkpad and Illustrator Pens to colour the images.  For a bit of defination I heat embossed the snowy parts using WOW Sparkle embossing powders.

Somewhere, it's snowing!

Somewhere, there is joy and snowmen being built!

I've made this cute little slimline winter card, perfect as a winter birthday card or the first towards my Christmas card collection for next Christmas.

I've coloured the stamped images using Spectrum Noir Illustrators and added details using a gel white pen.

Happy New Year!

Hello my Crafty Friends!

Happy New Year to you all! I know it's day 5 already but I'll be wishing everyone a fabulous new year for a few more days yet!

Today is my first post in my new position with the Whimsy Stamps family.  The Treasures Team, where we take pre-released stamps and Dies that we've all got in our stash and inspire you all to remember to use them. It's so easy to pile the new stuff ontop isn't it.  We need nudging to remind ourselves of those hidden treasures.

I've recently discovered how important it is for me to have a good set of Alphabet stamps and Dies and you may have noticed towards the end of last year, how much I incorporated them into my creations. I love their versatility, sometimes you need to use your own words and make it a statement. 

OK so, Happy New Year is an age old sentiment but it's what I wanted center stage of my card.

Lee Holland is a sponsor over at the Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook page. There are so many adorable images to download and color, you can check them out here. 

I used the Dragon with Snail digital image to create this card. I coupled it with a Lee Holland background scene rubber stamp that you can also get from Crafters Companion. 

I first printed the image then masked it so that I could stamp the image over the top. My son has a giant Snail as a pet, so creating a giant Snail going about his business in the woods with a Dragon on his back is believable in our home!  I've coloured the image using Spectrum Noir Illustrators. 

The sentiment is also from a Lee Holland stamp set from Crafters Companion, which I heat embossed with WOW gold embossing powder. 

I've then mounted the image onto holographic card and matt and layered to create a simple framed card.

I've made a fun shaker card using a very cheery frog swinging from the Christmas lights.  Mum must be pulling her hair out this year, these kids keep getting all tangled up in the lights!!

From the Nuthouse!

Hey Crafty Friends!

Today I'd like to share one of my most favourite cards that I've made this year.

I've used the Nutcracker stamp set from Whimsy Stamps.

I've used this stamp set and mixed and matched it with several dies and I love the outcome.

I coloured the Slimline Hill house die in festive colours and matched the colours to the Nutcracker outfits.  The pathway has been left nice and clear but what doesn't show up very well in the picture, are the banks all covered in glittery snow!
